MACH L-1860/L-1880

The MACH L-1860/1880 features a heavy-duty spindle housed in a robust headstock for increased flexibility and productivity (up to1600rpm).

The machine’s headstock is rigidly designed and built featuring British Matrix manufactured clutches, nylon safety pins in the end train and Chromium Molybdenum gears and shafts.

The MACH L-1860/1880 has up to 2000mm distance between centres, up to 231mm height of centre and X-axis and Z-axis travels of 272mm and 137mm, respectively.

The machine is equipped with a 3-axis Newall DP 500 Digital Readout (DRO), 3 & $ jaw chucks and quick change tool posts.

The machine also features a) induction hardened and ground gears and shafts for reliable and long-life performance, b) Meehanite cast, anti-vibration and stress-relieved beds for high accuracy and process reliability featuring Turcite B coating between the bed and carriage, c) Anti-float-designed backlash eliminators for improved accuracies, surface finishes and tool life.

The lathe is equipped with a tailstock for increased flexibility and reliability (Quill diameter = up to 76mm; Quill travel = up to 165mm).

A variable speed option is also available.
