MACH Machine Tools’ new, heavy-duty, production-led MDV 855/855S and MDV 1160/1160S vertical machining centres are tough and uncompromising, and are always ready to put in a shift. A lot like the customers they are aimed at.

As well as being supplied with the powerful PC-based and fully-closed loop DynaPath WinDelta CNC control, the machines also feature high-performance, belt-driven BT40 spindles (direct-drive 12,000rpm spindle options with spindle chiller and TSC are standard on ‘S’ models), a 24-position ATC, a large worktable (up to 1200mm x 600mm on the MDV 1160/1160S), and boast 36m/min rapids on all axes.

Both machines are competitively priced and are destined to give other manufacturers’ equivalent-type machines ‘a real run for their money.’

MDV machines are equipped with the DynaPath WinDelta control system, with its 15.6” LCD touchscreen user

interface. 

The control is capable of accepting multiple programme formats via its inbuilt USB, ethernet or wireless interfaces. It can be programmed conversationally, via DXF, in ISO/EIA G-Code formats and has an in-built DFX program editor, making the control capable of accepting and editing programmes in any machine format.
